In April 2018, Habanos launched the Polynesia Portuguese Soul Portuguese Regional Limited Edition 2017 cigar in Lisbon, Portugal. This cigar is named after an epic poem by Luiz Vaz da Camoes (also translated as Camoes), the most outstanding poet in the history of Portuguese literature - "Lusiadas" (also translated as "Soul of Portugal"), which is Camoes' immortal epic first published in 1572. This cigar is carefully made by tobacco rollers and is only sold in the Portuguese market. The type comes from Britanicas Extra, which has only appeared once in history (Rafael Gonzalez 88 Cigar (Ex. Asia Pacifico 2016)). Packed in boxes of 10, each cigar is handmade by skilled cigar rollers, and the tobacco comes from Vuelta Abajo in Cuba. Limited to 6,000 boxes worldwide.
