Punch’s cigars tell a fascinating story: the cigars were first created in 1840 by Manuel López for the British market and named after the 1944 golden-age comic books ‘Punch and Judy’ due to the main character, Mr. Punch, perpetually having a lit cigar in his hand. Since its creation, Punch has become the second oldest Havana brand still in production, becoming a benchmark of quality for any following cigars. They’re a medium-bodied smoke with a spicy aroma and mild floral fragrances. Punch also counts Sir Winston Churchill, after a visit to the Monte y Zulueta factory, as a fan.
