Interestingly, Quintero is one of the few not born out of Cuba’s capital, Havana, and instead was founded in the southern coastal city of Cienfuegos by Agustin Quintero and his four brothers. Made using selection filler blend sourced from Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta, all Quinteros are made with the Tripa Corta, Totalmente a Mano (“Short filler, totally handmade”) technique.
