Magnum 54 A/T

H. Upmann Magnum 54, named for its ring gauge, measures at 120mm. It is one of the most recent releases for the brand, being launched internationally in 2017.

Presented in a beautiful Colorado Maduro wrapper that is velvety in texture, these Maduro leaves undergo an individual aging process of 5 years to achieve this luxurious color and classification and adding a distinct sweetness to the profile.

The construction is impeccable, noticeable upon first light, the draw is razor sharp and fills the mouth with a creamy smoke. There is a light sweetness in flavours of coffee bean and light spices, we also noted some almond nuttyness. The body hovered around medium, increasing slightly towards the finish while the flavour intensity went from medium to full with sweet floral notes and rich cedar coming in to build out the bouquet.

While a generous size, this cigar would be well suited to all levels of smoker, the smooth and satisfying flavours can be easily appreciated or intricately unpacked.
